Juria Yoshikawa considers her newest work “I’m not here” an immersive situation to enhance people’s experience in SL through color, light, motion, audio and av animation. When she says point blank “I’m not here”, Juria is asking us what is “being here” as sl av’s really about. With this in mind she has created two huge light sculptures for us to enter, lose ourselves in and discover ourselves anew as shapes in color. Juria also places audio samples of voices in sculptures throughout the space that get triggered when people walk through them - creating a room size, multi-player musical instrument. Bring friends and immerse yourselves in the lights, colors and sounds. And be sure to set your sun to midnight and turn your sl sound on to hear psychedelic and ambient music.
