I have the great pleasure to be invited to take part in the Visions of Global Justice show running March 19 in SL. The USC Network Culture Project will feature the work of thirteen virtual world artists on the theme of justice, all specifically created for this event to celebrate the International Criminal Court. Here’s a list of some of the great artists involved:
Tuna Oddfellow, AM Radio, Pavig Lok, Tooter Claxton, Dancoyote Antonelli, Filthy Fluno, elros Tuominen, Chance Abattoir, Adam Ramona, Josina Burgess, Velazquez Bonetto, Junivers Stockholm and myself.

My work is titled “Nest of Light” and incorporates morphing megaprims, layers of animated analog scribble textures, dense particle objects and an interactive sound field. This is my description of the piece as it relates to the exhibition theme of justice:
Inside us all is a light, sometimes small and hard to discern, other times a raging flame. As the title of this installation suggests, “a nest of light” is in us all sheltering and growing what we call inspiration, creativity, the essense of our beings. The word “justice” can mean many things but to me, most of all, it starts with being true to myself and searching for an internal spark I believe is the beginning of creative truth. Only by knowing my true voice can I be fair to others and appreciate the differences in the rest of society. Prior to my work in sl, my “nest of light” was out of reach and clouded by rl constraints and pressures. Now, given this new aesthetic culture that I take part in, my world certainly feels like a much bigger, brighter and just place. The artists and patrons of sl openly collaborate and share across all geographic boundaries. At times the key to unlocking a new idea is as close as the next conversation with a fellow virtual creator. I appreciate every opportunity (including this one) to explore, share and challenge my preconceived ideas of perception. To me, this is the start down the path to achieving truth and justice in our shared culture.
